Information Technology Assignment for Staff

Following is an example of the type of PowerPoint assignment expected. You can go for the given theme or you can take any other theme according to your interest. The following points should be their in your assignment

Minimum 5 slides in the presentation

First slide should have the title of your theme, name of the staff who created it and at least one image related to the theme

Second slide should have links to other three slides

Procedure for adding Hyperlinks:

	Hyperlinks can be given only if you have created those other slides with at least their titles given.
	Select one of the titles from the second slide and select Hyperlink from the Insert menu
	In the Hyperlink dialog-box go to Bookmark and select the slide to which you want the link to be attached
	Repeat the same procedure for the remaining titles

The remaining three slides should have an action button taking them to the second slide

One of the slides should contain a animation showing a concept based on your theme

One of the slides should have a table with some data in it. The table can have any number of columns and rows

Apply a common design template to all the slides

Get the image required from the Internet using any of the search engines like Google or MSN

Save the presentation in \\orion\home\Assignment_Apr_05 with an appropriate name

Also save the presentation with the extension pps in the same location and check the difference between the the ppt and pps.

Use the Pack and go wizard in File menu to compile the whole show with its related file into one file and save it in the same location.

Example

Create a PowerPoint presentation based on the theme of "Save the Earth's Environment". Create at least 5 slides having different titles but a common design template. The quantity of data you put in those slides is not important, but see to it that you design the slides as per given.

The first slide will have the Title of your presentation and the names of its creators. It should also have an image related to the theme.

The second slide will contain the general information about the theme and titles of the remaining three slides. Give a hyperlink to these titles such that when you click on them you are taken to the corresponding slide directly.

In the remaining three slides we should have a action button which allows you to go back to the second slide. You can get the action button from the Slide Show menu.

The third slide must give the factors responsible for environmental damage, types of pollution etc.

The fourth slide must contain an animation showing any one of the concepts related to the theme like acid rain, greenhouse effect, soil erosion etc.

The fifth slide must be based on what we (human beings) can do to reduce the effects of pollution, if possible in a table
