A quiz is an opportunity for students to show their talent in knowing & remembering a variety of facts and concepts. We take this quiz for the students of 7th & 8th standard, particularly from a GK point-of-view. This year the topic is "Computers" and the broad sub topics are:
1) History of Computers, 2) How the hardware works?, 3) Softwares, 4) The computer industry

Each school can send up to 2 teams comprising of 3 to 4 students each for the Eliminations. The team should be accompanied by an adult and should bring their tiffin as the rounds may get prolonged. Questions will be asked in English, however non-english participants can request a translator in advance. Each member of the winning team will receive prizes and a certificate.

Elims  -     (Std 5 To 7)

23 Jan, 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM
Each school can send up to 2 teams for the competition. This round will select 4 teams to go to the finals as follows. Teams will be grouped into batches, preferably by standard and medium. Teams in each batch will get 3 turns of questions and a 5 question buzzer round (for entire batch). Teams winning in each batch will be matched against each other in a semi-final buzzer round at the end of the day.

Final  -     (Std 5 To 7)

24 Jan, 01:00 PM to 01:45 PM
The final will be held on stage on the second day of Stimulus. 4 competing teams will be taken through 3 rounds.
The first round will have 2 turns of questions. In the second round each team gets 2 audio-visual questions from an area of their choice. The weakest team of the first round gets preference. An area once selected cannot be reused by another team. The final round will be a buzzer round with 10 questions. The team with the highest points at this stage, wins.
