Quizzing is the best way to check the alertness and extent of knowledge of a student. Each year we take the quiz competition based on the theme of Stimulus. Most questions are taken from the projects exhibited by various other students which the quiz candidates are expected to go through prior to the competition. Some questions may come from the common knowledge available through text-books, TV, newspapers, etc. As the quiz is based on the theme of Stimulus, we will allow time for all participants to view the project exhibition before the intershcool rounds begin. At each stage and each batch of quiz, there are between 3 to 5 teams competing. Language is restricted to English. (vernacular students can ask for a translator) Wherever possible we batch the teams according to their academic level and language. At each stage teams will face few rounds of simple questions and in the interschool stages, also a buzzer round. The final stage will have an extra audio-visual round, where students are shown clips or images upon which the questions are based. Each member of the finalist team recieves the certificate and the prizes. | Scroll below for details of various rounds Interschool Elims - (Std 8 To 12) 23 Jan, 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM Teams are put in groups of 4 or 5, taking care that they belong to different schools, but similar standards & language.
