The theatre demands a variety of talents like singing, dancing, acting or playing music. All these performances need different skills on the part of the individual performer, however, as a group they need to be good in certain common aspects, in order to deliver a good performance. In this competition we judge these common characteristics of all theatre arts.
Students can make teams of 2 to 8 and perform anything from the areas described above. Teams will get 10 minutes each time for their total performance. Teams must announce the title of their performance at enrollment. Vulgarity or indecency will be grounds for disqualification. Language of performance should be either English, Hindi or Marathi. A basic music player will be provided. Other than that any instrument or prop needed should be carried by the teams. The theme is Fusion. Teams may perform any act which includes Dance, Drama, Music or Singing based on the theme.
The way the team coordinates it self and uses the space available to them, the flow of their presentation and consistency of the rhythm and intensity, will be observed. There is only 1 round, hence judges will also question the team on their understanding of the art form and choice of topic.
Teams must arrange for any props or equipment they will need. Teams should make their arrangements well before the start of the competition. Result - 24 Jan, 04:00 PM
